Resolution approved on Tuesday, October 6, 1998 at a
special meeting of the Leawood South Homes Association, Inc.:
RESOLUTION: Whereas, Leawood City Ordinance No. 1415
passed June 6, 1994, authorizes roofs on residential homes within
the City of Leawood to be composed of laminated composition shingles as
further described in the ordinance, and
Whereas, Restriction Agreements governing the plots in
Leawood South Subdivision, a subdivision in the City of Leawood, do not
specifically authorize roofs on homes in Leawood South Subdivision to
be categorically composed of laminated composition shingles, but the
Homes Association declarations governing the plot in Leawood South
Subdivision do require the Association to observe all applicable city
ordinances and make rules and regulations to carry out the provisions
of the Homes Association declarations,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Restriction Agreements
governing the plats in Leawood South Subdivision a subdivision in the
City of Leawood, Kansas, shall be interpreted to enable homeowners to
categorically have roofs on their residences composed of laminated
composition shingles as further described and regulated by Leawood City Ordinance No. 1415,
passed June 6, 1994.
